“I’ve got something to say and I’m bringing it to the mic..." I launched BBP about 6-months before COVID hit and started gaining momentum in the Fall of 2021. This podcast is a means to reach out and relate to women like me, women that look like me, have similar backgrounds, and similar life experiences. These similarities are how we identify, emphasize, and sympathize with one another. BBP allows me to share my voice and my own stories. I’ve always embraced the power of the written word. Now, I’m bringing my words to life. I’ve created a space where melaninated women from ALL generation can come to feel empowered, validated, and understood. A space where we can use our voices to leverage the implicit bias and stereotypes that has plagued our culture. The journey, experience, and feedback are everything I could’ve hoped for...”
